My initial ideas for a new music magazine

My music magazine is going to be genres specific around rock music, this will also include sub-genres of rock to give more variety to a broader audience. I want the magazine to be a mix between Kerrang!, Total Guitar and possibly NME.

The magazine will include reviews of bands' albums, live performances, interviews with bands, some informal and jokey, giving an insight into the personality of members within a band and some more comprehensive in-depth interviews, up and coming bands, posters and a section for people to write in about things they have to say, their opinions of gigs and experiences, with pictures of them with bands etc. I was also thinking of taking the Total Guitar idea of putting in the tabs for songs in there, but instead of a large range of songs, maybe just one song of the band on the cover tabbed out for people at home to play on guitar also having hints and tips from the musician.

As well as all the music I was thinking of a slightly lifestyle like section, with the latest fashions within the genre, which gadgets to have with reviews about them, this would also open the magazine up for a slightly wider audience of advertisers for the magazine.

The magazine will be aimed at people between the ages of 14 and 25, 14 because this is the legal age for most venues for people to get into gigs, but obviously younger people do get in so it could appeal to them also. And up to 25 because I feel beyond this point people have a music taste pretty much set in stone so won't be as interested in new bands, however there will be exceptions to my view.
